About The Founder
Aungelique O’Regan is a qualified advanced aesthetic practitioner with a passion for helping people achieve their personal goals. Her previous experience over the years including ventures into dental nursing and health and wellness has led her to the launch of Bare Brilliance, an aesthetic non-surgical cosmetic practice.
PRP therapy (also known as “Vampire Facial”) is an excellent treatment that uses a small amount of your own blood to stimulate the production of collagen and new skin cells. PRP therapy is predominantly used on the face, particularly around the eyes, mouth and nose although it may be used on the backs of the hands and all over the body, more commonly the décolletage to give a more youthful and radiant appearance.
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections are gaining popularity for a variety of conditions, from sports injuries to hair loss. The treatment uses a patient’s own blood cells to accelerate healing in a specific area. A PRP injection is a low-risk procedure and does not usually cause major side effects.
PRP can be used as a cosmetic treatment for the following:
Anyone experiencing hair loss is essentially a good candidate for PRP treatments, but those with early hair loss tend to respond best. In women, this might look like a widening part with normal hair thickness at the back of the head.
The PRP treatment process is relatively quick, with minimal downtime, and the end result is visible and, most importantly, natural. There are no pharmaceutical products used and it’s not the traditional “surgical” procedure you might expect.
My commitment to being up to date with the very latest techniques and methods is one which has seen me attend over twenty seminars and successfully complete numerous training courses in non surgical cosmetic procedures. All of these through accredited and internationally renowned institutions. These include safe practice, basic life support and infection control.
Ensuring client safety is a number one priority. To this end I am licensed, insured and trained in complications and medical emergencies. I am also an active member of the Association of Cosmetic Practitioners of Britain.
