Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Available in Windsor and Chiswick

We believe that quality services produce life-changing results. That’s why we’re proud to offer quick, simple anti-wrinkle injections targeting wrinkles, giving your skin a healthy, youthful appearance in two weeks or less. It’s a simple, fuss-free procedure designed to help you look and feel your best, no matter your age.

Anti-wrinkle injections can be summarised as micro-injections that contain purified protein muscle relaxants. These injections take only around 15 minutes to perform and are formulated to reduce and smooth fine lines on the upper face, such as on your forehead, around your eyes or between your eyebrows. When administered correctly, anti-wrinkle injections typically last for 3-4 months. It’s a quick, easy, and effective treatment with little – if any – down time!

You will only experience slight discomfort, with the benefit that you can resume normal activities almost immediately. The initial results of the anti-wrinkle injection treatment will take just 2 to 3 days to appear; however, it will take around 10 to 14 days for the complete results to show on your skin. The exact longevity of your anti-wrinkle treatment will be dependent on your body chemistry and your skin condition.

What Do Anti-Wrinkle Injections Involve?

  • First, book an anti-wrinkle injection consultation at our Chiswick or Windsor clinic. During your consultation, your specialist will explain the treatment in depth and discuss whether it’s a suitable option for you. They may also recommend additional treatments that you may benefit from, as well as skincare products that may enhance your anti-wrinkle injection results.
  • On the day of your treatment, don’t worry – the anti-wrinkle injection treatment is quick and very nearly painless. In about 15 minutes, we’ll target and treat wrinkles near your eyes, eyebrows and forehead.
  • Most patients need anti-wrinkle injections every 3-6 months, but this depends on your skin’s overall condition and your body’s health. Optimal results will start to show after about two weeks, but you’ll be able to enjoy immediate results in just two or three days.

The Benefits of Anti-Wrinkle Injections

  • Soften and Prevent Wrinkles. Even if you don’t currently have wrinkles or fine lines on your forehead, between your eyebrows or around your eyes, you likely don’t want them in the future. While the main purpose of anti-wrinkle injections is to improve or reduce lines, they can also be used as a preventative measure to soften the lines that arise when you move your face. This keeps the formation of future lines on pause.
  • Look More Rested. As you age, lines settle into your skin and can become visible even when your face is at rest. It’s those lines that can make you look tired and fatigued even when you’ve gotten a good 8 hours of sleep the night before. Softening the lines in the skin makes your face look fresher and more relaxed.
  • Improve Shape. If your features have started to become asymmetrical as you age, anti-wrinkle injections can help lift certain parts of your face to ensure symmetry again.

What are Anti-Wrinkle Injections?

Anti-Wrinkle injections are non-surgical micro-injections that contain purified protein muscle relaxants that are injected directly into the muscle, treating fine lines and wrinkles. Anti-wrinkle injections can also be used for gummy smiles, reducing the appearance of bunny lines, dimpling around the chin, slimming the face, and reducing excessive sweating.

What can Anti-Wrinkle Injections treat?

Anti-wrinkle injections help address signs of facial ageing by reducing overactive facial muscles, which pull and tug on the skin and keep it from looking smooth and tight. Anti-wrinkle injections give your skin a break from continuously-moving muscles, allowing it to smooth out and relax – and giving it a fresher, younger look!

Anti-wrinkle injections offer a non-surgical and minimally invasive solution to maintaining and improving the appearance of your facial skin. Anti-wrinkle injections work best for wrinkles caused by muscle overactivity like forehead creases, frown lines and crow’s feet.

Anti-wrinkle injections are gentle and last a long time – anywhere from 3 to 6 months depending on your skin’s condition and overall health – and prevent fine lines from developing in the process. Regular treatments just 2 or 3 times a year can really make a difference!

While the cosmetic appeal of anti-wrinkle treatments are the main draw, there are other benefits. Anti-wrinkle injections can also be used to treat medical conditions like excessive armpit sweating (also called hyperhidrosis), teeth grinding, and migraine headaches.

How long do Anti-Wrinkle Injections last?

The duration of the results typically lasts between 3 – 6 months for most of our patients, this can vary from patient to patient and is dependent on your body chemistry and skins condition.

When will I see results?

The initial results of your Anti-Wrinkle injections take only 2 – 3 days to appear, however optimal results appear around 10-14 days after.

How many sessions do I need?

For most patients, Anti-Wrinkle injections are scheduled between 3 – 6 months after the previous treatment to maintain desired results.

How long do they take?

Anti-Wrinkle injections are a quick procedure typically taking around 15 minutes to administer.

What is the aftercare?

While there is no downtime, you can return to work immediately after Anti-Wrinkle injections and resume activities almost immediately after treatment, strenuous activities should be resumed after 24 hours. As part of our treatments, we offer further aftercare advice at the appointment.

Are Anti-Wrinkle Injections safe?

If you have any concerns, you can always contact us, and we will be happy to answer any questions or concerns regarding anti-wrinkle injections.

Botulinum Toxin at Bare Brilliance.

Botulinum Toxin is a versatile product that has a variety of medical and cosmetic uses. Many people may be more familiar with the term Botox as its effective use for erasing the look of facial wrinkles.

At Bare Brilliance we use Botulinum Toxin as an anti-wrinkle treatment, as well as a treatment for reducing excessive sweating. This treatment is recommended for the use on the areas where facial movement is the cause of your wrinkles, which is usually around the eyes, on the forehead, and the lines that run from the nose to the mouth.

We administer the toxin via injection directly to the muscle in the chosen area, temporarily paralysing contractions. When the muscle does not move, neither does the underline tissues or the overlying skin, and the wrinkle simply does not form.

This same concept can be applied to the muscles in places where the body produces sweat like under the arms, palms of the hands, and on the soles of the feet in the same way that the muscles get paralysed, the nerves will stop sending messages to the sweat glands to produce moisture and you can start to become sweat free.
